2007 SW Trip: Idaho-Nevada

2007 SW Trip
The purpose of the trip was to travel through some of the interior west
that I had not seen before, especially to see parks like Zion and Bryce
Canyon. I wanted to see the Arizona desert, some of New Mexico, and west
Texas. My cousin Patt and I planned to meet at her brother's near Fort
Worth, drive through a bit of eastern Oklahoma, after which I would drop
her off at Oklahoma City and proceed back along a different scenic
route. Oh and maybe do a bit of birding along the way.
I got an early start, though later than I hoped. Still, getting through
Bellevue wasn't too bad and that was the only traffic hangup on the way.
It was snowing a little on Snoqualmie Pass, but the road was clear.
Altogether, it was a very good start.
