The drive through El Paso was interesting, inspiring quite a few thoughts on the current
immigration controversy. From the freeway after it turns easterly,
looking right El Paso seem very large until I realize
that the Rio Grande is down there and across it is Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
This metropolitan region started quite a few miles earlier, at Las Cruces, really.
Something must be working there, at least I don't hear anything in the news about it.
Past that it's interesting scenery, but not particularly photogenic. These flowers
turned up shortly after getting off I10 on TX118 heading to Fort Davis.
